The Fledglings   

Our Nursery School welcomes children aged 3-4 years of age and is known as the Fledglings room. Qualified teachers work alongside experienced early years professionals to create a stimulating, nurturing, quality first teaching environment with purposefully planned play and learning activities. Learning through play is at the heart of our provision. We place a strong focus on developing children’s listening and attention skills, communication and language, personal and social skills and independence. Our extensive outside learning environment is open for children to access throughout each session. We highly value the opportunities that exploring and learning in the outdoors provides and regularly make use of our school's Nature Garden, as well as the local woods, to provide regular Nature Explorer sessions.

Funded Nursery Sessions

All 3-4 year olds children are eligible for 15 hours of funded nursery sessions from the term after their 3^rd birthday. In addition to this, children from eligible working families are also entitled to claim additional hours, up to a total of 30 hours per week of fully funded sessions.
