Nursery School

Plym Bridge Nursery School

The Nursery School provides an inspiring, child-focused learning environment based around the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Staff are dedicated to caring for each child individually and to providing a quality first education. We support the children's education and developmental needs in our language-rich setting through a wide range of purposefully selected activities and resources aimed at:

  • Fostering enquiring, curious minds,
  • Developing listening and attention skills
  • Expanding speech and language skills,
  • Encouraging respect and kindness towards others
  • Building self-confidence and independence
  • Strengthening social skills
  • Helping children understand their emotions and manage their behaviour

A strong emphasis is placed on joyful, fun learning experiences and celebrating children's achievements. Children have access to the nursery garden throughout each session.
