Home Learning

Each week we produce a 'This week ...' poster which includes a key Makaton sign linked to our learning focus, the book and song / nursery rhyme of the week and a top tip for families to help you support your child's understanding and talking at home.

In nursery school we also share a simple IMPACT activity with you each week. We encourage you to carry this out with your child at home and for them to bring in what they have done to share with their friends in their group time. Learning through play is at the heart of these activities. We would encourage you to follow your child's lead in play and to watch and listen to what they are interested in. We hope you have fun creating, thinking and exploring together. We really love celebrating the diverse and individualised creations they produce with you and the children share their work with such pride and joy.

Please keep an eye on our Famly app and Facebook page for additional activities, songs, stories and resources that relate to our current focus of learning.
