What is Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)?
Early Years Pupil Premium is an additional sum of money provided by the Government to help Early Years providers to support all children to achieve their full potential and to close the achievement gap which can affect some of the most disadvantaged children.
For each three and four-year-old child that qualifies, the nursery is able to claim up to £300 extra per year. This funding can be used in any way that will improve the quality of the early years education provided for your child.
If you receive any of the following benefits, your child may qualify for Early Years Pupil Premium:
Universal Credit – provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7400, assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods;
You may also qualify if your child has:
Early Years Pupil Premium at Plym Bridge Nursery School:
The way that Plym Bridge Nursery uses the pupil premium changes based on the developmental needs and interests of eligible children. This is reviewed on a termly basis.
