YFPS Children's Learning Detectives
YFPS Children's Learning Detectives (CLDs) are a group of our pupils who are trained to recognise and develop the learning in our school. We work on our 'Building Learning Powers' or the five T's which are: trying, taking risks, together, thinking and tools. Children are rewarded when they use their learning powers and we also give 'Dojo' points when the children use their learning powers in class. Each term the CLDs work alongside a member of staff to observe the teaching and learning in our school and give feedback to the children and the teachers on strengths and areas for improvement. We are very proud of the way we have developed this leadership role amongst our children.
