Accelerated Reader
Once your child is a fluent reader, we will assess them for Accelerated Reader and they will then be given a number range which will mean they can select any book and know that it is within their reading and comprehension range. They will be able to complete an online quiz when they have finished the book and receive prizes and awards for their progress. It is still important to read with your child and share the storyline and plot. Reading a book together at bedtime is a fantastic way to bond with your child and help them to develop a love of reading.
