Parent Support Advisor
Who am I?
My name is Kelly Tompkins.
I started the role of Parent Support Advisor in 2007.
My involvement with Yealmpstone Farm began in 2003 when my eldest son started in reception. It was my youngest son's turn September 2007 and that allowed me to become part of the School's team as a mealtime assistant. This enabled me to get to know a lot of the children and become a familiar face in school. I am a very approachable person and I am here to provide a link between the parents and the school.
What I can do for you? My main aim is to support and inform you. This can be achieved in many:
- Onsite information and support, to be accurate and impartial.
- Guidance for support from outside agencies.
- Supporting you with transition periods.
- Developing activities and opportunities.
- Passing your views, praises and concerns to the school.
- A friendly face which offers a shoulder to cry on (tissues and coffee provided).
